This midterm presentation allows me to organize everything I have, from the research at the very beginning to recent prototypes, and helps me filter things out to find a focus.

I got great advice from the guest:

1. Better positioning of target users, solo travelers might not be accurate. (Maybe people who share similar interest?)

2. Consider how the product is different from existing products, like Eventbrite, Douban, etc.

3. Be more thoughtful with the flow. For instance, What will be the things users need to know before starting a chat with a stranger?

Also, from the discussion with guests, I realized that people’s first impression of my product is an event app instead of social media. This important finding indicates that I am missing some social features for my current design, which will be my next iteration focus.
